Americans Want to Protect Public Lands and Waters from Fossil Fuel Development

A new national poll conducted on behalf of the Natural Resources Defense Council and League of Conservation Voters finds that the public has a dim view of expanding oil, gas, and coal development on public lands, and would favor the Obama administration’s putting protections in place that would prevent this, particularly in the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans.
