Geoff Garin

Geoff Garin is president of Hart Research. He conducts research nationally and in battleground states for many national Democratic Party organizations, including Senate Majority PAC and EMILYs List Women Vote. He polls extensively on economic, environmental, healthcare, national security, and social justice policy for the Center for American Progress, Climate Power, the League of Conservation Voters, National Security Action, Protect Our Care, and many other leading progressive organizations, and he conducts research among parents and voters on educational issues for the American Federation of Teachers and the California Teachers Association.

Geoff’s clients in the United States Senate include Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Majority Whip Dick Durbin, Mark Warner, Peter Welch, and Ben Cardin.

Geoff started working at Hart Research in 1978 and has been its president since 1984. He is a graduate of Harvard College. He is married to Debbie Berkowitz, one of the country’s leading advocates for worker health and safety.
