Poll: Americans Voice Strong Support for Bold Federal Response That Puts Workers & Families First

Our new poll for Caring Across Generations and National Domestic Workers Alliance finds that 81% of Americans view COVID-19 and its widespread impacts as a major crisis facing the country, and 94% say that America should have been better prepared to face COVID-19. Most Americans (67%) believe that we need a major reform of the country’s response to the pandemic, as they report struggling to cope with multiple challenges and uncertainties. Large majorities say the crisis has made them think about and value caregivers more and 69% feel that the federal government should be doing more to support them.
