Republican Optimism Drives Trump Administration's Positive Image, While Democrats and Independents Are Less Sure

The new CNBC All-America Economic Survey finds an upswing in the public’s economic optimism, driven mostly by positive feelings among Republicans since Donald Trump’s election. But there are significant warning signs for the president as well—namely an historically low job approval rating and substantial disagreement with his positions on the areas where the administration has been most active: climate change, immigration, travel from Muslim countries, and ACA repeal.
