Amy L. Undercoffler

Amy L. Undercoffler is director of Research Teams. In this role, she guides workflow management and communication between departments, looks after the morale and wellbeing of the firm’s team of talented research associates, and fosters equity among them in skill, knowledge, and project load.

For more than two decades, Amy was at the helm of Hart Research’s editing team. Her steadfast and compassionate leadership and dedication to the meticulous review and guidance of internal systems, survey language and logic, and client- and public-facing content helped forge the gold-standard reputation for which the company is known.

Amy graduated from Washington College with a BA in English. A resident of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, she embraces a (very) slow, thoughtful approach to renovating her 1794 house, where she lives with her husband and four cats. There she also enjoys knitting, gardening, reading cookbooks, and watching BBC Gardeners’ World.
