Charles Begala

Research Analyst

Charles Begala is a research analyst at Hart Research, where he specializes in political and campaign-related research. His responsibilities include writing survey questionnaires, coordinating the work of internal departments and outside vendors, working closely with clients and stakeholders to refine the project to best meet their needs, and analyzing and reporting research findings.

Charles has worked on behalf of dozens of campaigns and political organizations, including local elections and down-ballot races, as well as statewide offices such as senators and governors, including:  Governor Andy Beshear (2023), Governor Wes Moore (2022), the Virgina Senate Caucus (2023), Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (2022), Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (2022), Congressman Eric Sorensen (2022), and Harris County, TX Judge Lina Hidalgo, to name a few.

Before joining Hart Research, he graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in economics and statistics. He currently lives in Southwest DC.
