Joseph Maher

Joseph Maher is a data analyst for Hart Research. He works closely with Hart’s survey data – cleaning, manipulating, and demographically weighting it to more accurately represent the populations being studied. He is also a member of Hart Research’s Methodology Committee.

Joseph is an expert in machine learning, data quality, and survey weighting. As a member of the Methodology Committee, he has focused on topics such as weighting efficiency and impact, survey accuracy, and respondent quality-control measures.

He graduated from Columbia University with a master’s degree in applied data analytics and received his undergraduate degree from Union College in political science and mathematics. He now lives in Washington, DC, with his plants.
