Max McKitrick

Max McKitrick joined the firm in 2023 as a data associate.   In this role, he processes primary data sets, produces data output deliverables, and conducts quality-control checks of data sets. Before joining the Hart Research team, he worked at Rails-to-Trails Conservancy on the federal policy team and at the Maryland General Assembly for Delegate Mary Lehman as a legislative research fellow.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Max moved to Maryland to pursue higher education. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, receiving a BS in Statistics and Government & Politics in 2022. Max continued his studies at the school, graduating with an MS in Applied Political Analytics in 2023.

When he isn’t working on data, you can find him on hiking trails, trekking toward a summit for an unknown reason; in the kitchen, coaxing his friends to be surprise judges for his latest bakes; or at a low-key, grungy concert venue, losing himself in music.
