Voters’ Support for Federal Funding of USPS

May 1, 2020 by Hart Research Leave a Comment

A recent survey conducted by Hart Research with North Star Opinion Research found widespread support for the U.S. Postal Service. Nearly all voters (94%)  across party lines and in urban and rural areas say that the mail and package services provided by the U.S. Postal Service are important to them and their families. Among voters, there is bipartisan support for Congress to appropriate funds for the Postal Service to maintain these important operations that voters rely on, such as delivering prescription medications and receiving and paying bills, through the COVID-19 pandemic.
